Location: Bournemouth office with Hybrid Working
Working hours: 20-25 hour per week, (worked over 3 or 4 days) 9 am - 5:30 pm
Salary range: £30,000 to £35,000 (FTE) – based on experience.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the HR Advisor (UK) will primarily be responsible for recruitment, onboarding and employee relation matters , but you will also be performing a range of duties to support the smooth running of the organisation by driving and managing a volume and variety of employee life-cycle related tasks.
This is a very hands-on position, which will see you work closely with other areas of the business and provide support to key stakeholders across the Company having the ability to remain professional at all times is essential.
Key responsibilities
o Screen CVs and conduct initial HR screening interviews
o Write job ads and advertise across all job platforms
o Manage database of candidates and ensure this is regularly updated
o Point of contact for new hires from offer to on-boarding and induction
o Coach and support line managers to enable effective employee relations and people management capability
o Assist with performance management, appraisals and absence management
o Ad hoc HR Projects / Support Head of HR where required
o Supporting with employee engagement initiatives as part of the HR corporate plan
o Act as a ‘partner’ to critical members of the management team ensuring they are up to date on all HR initiatives and ‘own’ their people related matters
Key skills & Requirements
o CIPD level 5 (or equivalent) preferred
o Previous experience within a HR Department or internal recruitment function
o Confident speaker and the ability to host 1-2-1 interviews over video, phone or in person.
o Broad knowledge and understanding of UK and employment law
o Ability to manage own diary to meet deadlines and ensure prioritisation in line with the business needs where necessary
o Have the ability to adapt to an ever-changing workload and variety of new tasks/projects

Work environment
A hybrid contract whereby 1 to 2 days (per week) will be required in the office.
