Salesforce Developer/Architect

Our Role
We are recruiting a Salesforce Architect/Developer to develop, maintain and optimize our Salesforce implementation (Service, Sales, Pardot) and overall Salesforce usage. As the Salesforce Architect you will set development standards and be responsible for refining the development backlog and signing off on all development plans.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Salesforce Architect/Developer with Salesforce Administration knowledge. This role will be key in delivering process automation, integration with Accounting and Sales applications and further developing our use of Salesforce.
Ideally you will be familiar with Agile ceremonies and feel able to facilitate sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives when required to cover for the scrum master.
The role holder will be responsible for creating & delivering, in a timely and accurate fashion, CRMs and workflow solutions using Salesforce/Apex, Force, Visualforce, J2EE and Python technologies. The candidate will be responsible for the application design, development and support of Salesforce related projects. The candidate must demonstrate progressive leadership in the full life cycle of the software development environment.
Responsibilities and Knowledge:
Strong change management and understanding of the SDLC
Agile methodology
Salesforce eco-system, architecture & integration patterns / best practice including Heroku, AppExchange, Lightning, Authentication and Access Models.
Experience with Kafka (desirable)
Salesforce Administration support including Profiles, Roles, Custom Permissions, Sharing Settings, etc.
Lightning Pages and Apps and App Management
Create Custom Objects, Visualforce and Lightning Component
Creating Apex Programming and Test Classes
Maintain Sandboxes as well as ability to deploy using Changesets and Migration Tools
SOQL
Create and maintain Integrations with external software including custom applications
Salesforce MFA security and health check protocols
Ability to perform data backups and mass exports of data
What are we looking for?
Outstanding communications skills and the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
Bsc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or significant industry experience
Demonstratable experience in a Salesforce Architect or Developer position
JavaScript, HTML and CSS knowledge would be an asset
A background in supporting a fast growing business is preferred
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Design, build and deploy business information solutions.
Someone who loves books, publishing and making knowledge accessible to readers around the world.
