The Role
The Marketing Executive – Events owns the planning, coordination and delivery of Kortext events, webinars and event-related activity across the UK, North America, MENA and other international markets. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role manages event logistics, timelines, supplier coordination, registration, attendee communications, accessibility considerations, lead capture support, budget notes and post-event records. The role works closely with Digital Marketing, Campaigns, Brand & Content, Product Marketing, Sales, Engagement and Lead Management & Automation to ensure events are well organised, professionally delivered, locally supported where needed and aligned to regional marketing and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning, Logistics and Delivery:
o Create and manage event project plans, timelines, checklists, run sheets and delivery schedules.
o Coordinate event logistics including venues, suppliers, platforms, travel, collateral, signage, catering and equipment.
o Track event spend, purchase requirements, supplier costs and budget notes, escalating risks or variances to the Head of Marketing.
o Support partnership events, sponsorship activations, roundtables, research group sessions and sector events agreed by the Head of Marketing.
o Support the delivery of in-person events, webinars, conferences, roundtables, customer events and internal marketing-led sessions across UK, North America, MENA and other relevant markets, with event strategy and final prioritisation agreed by the Head of Marketing.
o Manage registration processes, attendee communications, joining instructions, speaker logistics and delegate support.
o Track event actions, risks, deadlines and dependencies, escalating issues where needed.
Event Promotion, Sales Support and Follow-Up:
o Work with Campaigns and Brand & Content to support event promotion, event pages, emails, social content and attendee materials.
o Coordinate event delivery with External Affairs, Sales, Product Marketing, Engagement and Brand & Content where relevant.
o Coordinate with regional Sales teams on target attendee lists, meeting programmes, briefing packs, lead capture needs and follow-up actions.
o Brief Lead Management & Automation on event forms, tracking, registration data, lead capture setup and post-event reporting support requirements.
o Support post-event follow-up, feedback collection, attendee reporting, lead handoff checks and recommendations for future events.
o Maintain event records, supplier details, budget notes, feedback summaries, lessons learned and reusable event templates.
Skills & Requirements
o Strong event coordination, organisation and project management skills.
o Experience supporting in-person, virtual or hybrid events, webinars or conferences across multiple regions.
o Confident managing suppliers, timelines, registration processes and stakeholder requirements.
o Calm under pressure, detail-focused, proactive and comfortable managing multiple moving parts.
o Must drive as this role will involve travel.
