QA Analyst

Location: Working from home (based in Alberta or BC)
Working hours: 37.5 hours, 5 days a week
Salary: $90,000 to $100,000
The Role
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing and a keen eye for identifying issues and ensuring the quality of our software products. This role involves designing and executing test cases, reporting defects, and working closely with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Key responsibilities
o Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for various software applications for web, desktop and mobile devices.
o Identify, document, and report defects and issues in a clear and concise manner.
o Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability and quality.
o Perform regression testing to ensure that existing functionality is not affected by new changes.
o Participate in test planning, test case design
o Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established processes and standards.
o Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing.
Key skills & Requirements
o Proven experience in manual software testing.
o Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
o Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
o Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
o Experience with Azure Dev Opps test management tools.
o Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks.
o Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

A remote contract with opportunities to come into the Ontario office for team meetings.
